Commanding Officer





 LCol Andreola was born in Niagara Falls, On in November 1960.  He began his military career as a cadet with the Lincoln and Welland Regt as an infantryman and later joined the Reserves with 56 Fd Regiment 10 Bty in St Catharines On. In 1979 LCol Andreola transferred to the regular force as a gunner and was posted to J Bty 3 RCHA stationed in CFB Shilo where he served in various positions on the gun line and also completed a UN tour with UNFICYP.

In 1985 he was posted to the 1st Regiment RCHA.  While there, he occupied numerous positions in the Gun Bty such as Det Comd, OP Tech, Recce Sgt and finally RCPO’s Tech.  In 1989, he was selected to attend the Assistant Instructor-In-Gunnery Course and upon completion had remained in the school and instructed on various Phase trg courses. Following instructional duties, he was posted to 116 Indep Fd Bty located in Kenora, On as the RSS WO. In 2000 LCol Andreola attended second language training in Gagetown and upon completion was posted to WATC Det Shilo and after 8 months posted across the street back to 1 RCHA as the Ops WO.  Promoted to MWO in Feb 2001 which came with a posting to Base Ops as the Chief Range Controller. In 2004 he was commissioned from the ranks and returned back to the Artillery School under the TIG program, following 3 years as BK W Bty, LCol Andreola was selected to attend the Gunnery Career Course serial 25 at RSA Larkhill UK and upon completion returned to the RCAS as an Instructor in Gunnery STA. In 2010 LCol Andreola was posted over to 3 ASG as the G3 Operations Officer, In 2013 he deployed to South Sudan as a Military Liaison Officer with the United Nations.

On promotion to Major in 2014, he was posted to Edmonton AB, to assume duties as the Regional Commander for the Joint Personnel Support Unit Alberta/ Northern Canada, and later transferred to the reserves in 2015.

On 29 August 2015 LCol Andreola assumed Command of 3rd Field Artillery Regiment RCA (The Loyal Company)

LCol Andreola is is a graduate of the Land Forces Command and Staff College in Kingston and is married to Darcy Andreola and have a son (Cole) who is attending post-secondary education in New Brunswick.
